Should a funeral be carried out in a serious manner or in the way desired by the dead person? If the deceased prefer his or her funeral to be carried out in a more humorous way, should it be done?

Now some rules have been set in Australia’s Catholic Church for people who deliver eulogies. To protect the sacred character of the liturgy, the cardinal has ruled that any speaker at a funeral must confine himself to at most a 5-minute talk. Only one talk is allowed, and the tone of the eulogy should be in keeping with the spirit of prayer for the deceased, avoiding jokes about his weaknesses. The speaker is not allowed to mention sex or drunkenness. The rules are set after an increase in the number of inappropriate comments at funeral masses. This prompted Australia’s most senior Catholic, Cardinal George Pell, to impose a five-minute deadline on eulogies and deem some areas of a person’s life off limits.

Indian artiste Anoushka Shankar recently did some shootings for a campaign by animal rights group, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), in Mumbai. She was in leopardess costume and holding a placard with the slogan “Exotic Animals Belong in the Wild, Not Zoos”. The two-time Grammy Award nominee, Anoushka Shankar, is the daughter of master composer of Classical Indian Music & master sitarist Ravi Shankar. When you look at this pretty, young and sexy girl, you may mistake Anoushka as just an ordinary sexy fashion model, but this 21-year-old is “all that” and more! She is a bombshell! She is an activist in PETA involved in many PETA activities. For instance, she protested against KFC for its abusive practices such as scalding chickens in feathering tanks and breeding and drugging birds so that they grow large so fast that their leg bones break under their own weight. Credit was first used in Assyria, Babylon and Egypt 3000 years ago. The bill of exchange – the forerunner of banknotes – was established in the 14th century. Nowadays credit card is a most wonderful times of the year for the banking industry’s most lucrative business.

In beginning of the twentieth century, people had to pay cash for almost all products and services. Although the early part of the century saw an increase in individual store credit accounts, a credit card that could be used at more than one merchant was not invented until 1950. It all started when Frank X. McNamara and two of his friends went out to supper.In 1949, Frank X McNamara, head of the Hamilton Credit Corporation, have supper with Alfred Bloomingdale, McNamara’s long-time friend and grandson of the founder of the Bloomingdale’s store, and Ralph Sneider, McNamara’s attorney. This 3 men start the credit card concept, “BUY NOW, PAY LATER” after this dinner.
