It was a shocked evening for the famous British actor, Hugh Grant at the premier of his latest movie, Music & Lyrics on the 23th Feb 2007. A prankster suddenly handcuffed herself to him. She, Cielke Sijben, was a journalist working for Dutch TV Network 101 TV. Out of nowhere, she suddenly leaped herself forward when Grant walked on the red carpet and clamped a metal handcuff on his wrist, attaching herself to him.

Grant was confused for a while and stood for 10 minutes while the police detained her and fire fighters were summoned to free him from his captor. The fire fighters cut off the hand cuffs to free him up.

Anne Hathaway Pictures – 2007 Oscar Awards

Well, I’ve got to say that this year’s Academy Awards were actually very entertaining. Basically, it all boils down to the hosting and writing, and you could tell the Ellen Degeneres brought her best on both counts. Even the award introduction speaches were funny, and kept things moving. Just making a few good jokes at the Oscars is rare, but this show had me laughing out loud the whole time, so that’s definitely something.

Of course, the most important part of the Oscars isn’t who won, but what everyone was wearing, and as always, you’ll find all the Red Carpet pictures right here …

If only the Oscars were this much fun!

Sarah Silverman played host to the quirky Independent Sprit Awards last night , with “Little Miss Sunshine” dominating the ceremony. The film took home four awards, including top honors as Best Film.

Celebs like Rosario Dawson, Taylor Dayne, and a “bloodied” Neil Patrick Harris all sang ditties about each of the Best Film nominees in a brilliant attempt to break up the monotony of an awards show , with followings catchy brilliant moves ;
