The Departed won the Best Film in Oscars at the 79th Academy Awards

The film also won other Oscars at the 79th Academy Awards for Best Director (Martin Scorsese), Best Film Editing (Thelma Schoonmaker), and Best Adapted Screenplay (William Monahan).
The Departed was starred by Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen, Alec Baldwin and Ray Winstone. It is actually a remake of the popular Hong Kong crime thriller, The Infernal Affairs by Andrew Lau and Siu Fai Mak.

Jennifer Lopez Stars at Border Town Thriller

U.S. actress Jennifer Lopez arrives for the screening of her movie ‘Bordertown’ at the 57th International Film Festival Berlin ‘Berlinale’ in Berlin
Jennifer Lopez said she is proud to play in a thriller examining the murders of hundreds of women in a Mexican border town.”Bordertown”, co-starring Lopez, Antonio Banderas and Martin Sheen is scheduled to screen at the Berlin Festival later this week.
Lopez, also the film’s producer, will receive the Artists for Amnesty Award in Berlin.
