Grand sumo tournament was kicked off in Honolulu, Hawaii on June 9, 2007. There were demonstrations by sumo wrestlers with local kids before the official tournament started. It was fun to watch the demonstrations as the sizes of the sumo wrestles and the kids are so much different. Sumo wrestlers also performed dohyoiri during the opening ceremony.
