Nissan’s “Scratch Shield” Paint Technology Coming To NTT DoCoMo’s Mobile Phones
Interesting StuffThe multinational automaker, Nissan Motor Company, Ltd. has announced that it will license its amazing “Scratch Shield” self-healing paint technology that currently applied to certain Nissan and Infiniti vehicles worldwide to NTT DoCoMo aimed for mobile phone application in Japan, helping to reduce scratches over daily use.
According to Nissan, the Scratch Shield paint can self-heal fine scratches and restore the cars’ paint surfaces overnight or up to a week’s time in more severe cases, featuring more scratch-resistant, as well as more durable and long-lasting paint coat than conventional paint.
