Miss Germany is a national beauty pageant which was held for the first time in 1927. 22 attractive and lovely young ladies were competing for the official title “Miss Germany 2008” during an election gala in the southern German town of Rust on February 2, 2008. Miss Kim-Valerie Voigt from the western German town of Hanover beating other 21 finalists to crown as “Miss Germany 2008”.

The first runner-up was Miss Bavaria Anna Lena Freynhagen and second runner-up was Miss Eastern Germany Carina-Alexandra Nix.
