Singapore Bans Microsoft Video Game For Sex Scene
Interesting StuffSingapore’s Media Development Authority has banned a Microsoft Corp video game “Mass Effect” that contains a sex scene, it was reported by a local newspaper, The Straits Times on Nov. 15, 2007.
“Mass Effect” is a highly anticipated futuristic space adventure game from Microsoft. The sex scene of the video game is showing a human woman kissing and caressing an alien woman.
Until today, Singapore is the only country to ban the video game. Singapore has banned at least two other video games from Sony Corp’s “God Of War 2” and Top Cow Productions’ “The Darkness” in the past but this is the first time they ban the video game from Microsoft.
However, the local and international gamers comment that the decision of Singapore to ban the video game was too strict.
