These ads are quite old already but they are still a good one even you see them today. These are the ads for a job search site in European with the tag line: “Life’s too short for the wrong job.” The ads were advertised on vending machines; besides conveying the message for getting right job, they also make the vending machines alive. I like these ads because they are creative and humor. Anyway, life is tough now, must appreciate if you have a job, and the ads below also remind us that how lucky we are!

Earthquake Triggers Tsunami in Indonesia on 12.09.2007

An earthquake measuring 7.9-magnitude hit western coast Indonesia’s Sumatra island on Sept. 12, 2007. The powerful earthquake triggered warnings of a potentially destructive tsunami for much of the Indian Ocean region.

The undersea quake hit at about 6:10 p.m. in Sumatra and badly damaged buildings along the coast. There was a series of aftershocks, the strongest was 6.6-magnitude and it triggered a second tsunami alert for Indonesia. At least seven people were killed and about 100 injured as reported at 11:30 p.m. local time.

Body Shop’s Anita Dies At Aged 64

bsa1aEarning the Royal title The Queen of Green, and made her the Dame(the female equivalent of the knignt) by the Queen in recognition of her contribution to world beauty, Anita Roddick, founder of ethical cosmetics chain Body Shop died at her Sussex home, Britain aged 64 on Monday night.

Dame Anita who was passionate about the environmental eco-friendly cosmetics and a self proclaimed champion of fair trade founded her first shop in Brighton, West Sussex, Southern Britain in 1976. She went on further to pioneered beauty products free of animal testing by sourcing the natural ingredients from developing world and turned them into a highly profitable business around the world. Last year, she sold her Body Shop chain to French company L’Oreal.
