‘Saturday Night Live’ creator-producer Lorne Michaels has announced that the show’s ‘Best Of 06/07’ DVD will be only be sold at Starbucks. The show, NBC, is teamed up with coffee giant, Starbucks to create an exclusive DVD release for the first time.

Saturday Night Live is an American Television Series just like its counterpart in UK, but the Big Brother Series which is about live tasks setting. In United States, Saturday Night Live is a weekly late night 90 minutes American comedy variety show based in New York City broadcasted live by NBC on Saturday night.

Is she because of her beauty over intelligence? Or, is she a celebrity maps spokeswoman? All because of her strange and confusing response at Miss Teen USA Pageant has become the talking point. After the event, she said, ’she was simply lost her train of thought and overwhelmed by her national television appearance.’

In today morning talk show, a do over for Lauren Caitlin Upton to redeem herself by answering it right. So the same infamous question was to put her again: “Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can’t locate the U.S. on a world map. Why do you think this is?”

Then at the Miss Teen USA 2007, her answer was: “I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uhmmm, some people out there in our nation don’t have maps and uh, I believe that our, I, education like such as, uh, South Africa, and uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should, uhhh, our education over here in the U.S.

Britney Spears is facing an investigation by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services for possible child abuse. The child abuse allegations were reportedly raised during an unscheduled court hearing on August 27, 2007. Social workers at the LA County Department of Children and Family Services will be making enquiries into Britney’s suitability to be the sole carer.

Britney Spears is fighting for sole custody of her sons Sean, 23 months, and Jayden, 11 months with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Her erratic behaviour in front of her children has been criticized recently. Some were saying her children are not properly taking care, and not growing in a healthy environment.

A tattoo expo was held in Moscow on August 25, 2007. People with unique, funny and creative tattoos were there to show up the great work of arts. However, what really attracted the visitors was the scary performance by some crazy people who hooked themselves up.

Hooks were pierced through the skin of the performers’ back; they then suspended by the hooks. In another performance, a man carrying a woman when he was suspended on hooks pierced. Most audiences were shocked with their performance. See some photos of the men suspended by hooks pierced below.

A series of street lamp in a female figure were installed at Xishan Square of Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang. The colorful street lamps are just few simple lines but it was cleared that they are female figure, some of them are carrying ball, playing music instrument, playing hula-hoop etc.

These street lamps are not only to light up the area at night, but there are work of art and art deco at Xishan Square in day times.

The awards were selected by online voting and the stars gathered at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal Studios in Los Angeles for Teen Choice Awards 2007.

‘Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End’ dominated the seventh-annual awards, taking honors for Choice Movie: Action Adventure. While actress Sophia Bush was the biggest competitive individual-category winner with three awards: Choice Movie Breakout: Female, Choice Movie Actress: Horror/Thriller for ‘The Hitcher’ and Choice Movie Actress: Comedy for ‘John Tucker Must Die.’

Miss South Carolina, Lauren Caitlin Upton, answers her question at the 25th Miss Teen USA pageant in a hilarious way that caused frenzy commotion online just to view the clip of her answers to questions put to her. At least she tries to but she completely misunderstood the questions.

Her question: “Why can’t a fifth of Americans locate USA on a world map?” Her answer: “…that ‘U.S. Americans’ don’t have ‘that'” and “our education such as South Africa and the Iraq and everywhere such as, should help South Africa and the Iraq. ”
