On 22ndAugust, 2007, various designs of stuffed toy bears are in the first Teddy Bear Exhibition opened in Beijing. Teddy bear has a long history of more than 100 years and is very much sought after by many toy lover collectors. One of my favourite stuffed toy bears is Germany Steiff teddy bears which is so cute , durable and yet washable too with a distinctive Steiff button tag on its ear for its high quality trademark.

The new prototype 52 inches Sharp TV is only 2cm thick and consumes less than half the power of its current model. What’s more, it has a better contrast ratio of 100,000:1. The signal is similar to the satellite broadcasting by means of high speed wireless link an only cable required is for power. It weighs only 25kg.

However, the high bandwidth signal requires millimeter wave which means line of sight has to be maintained between transmitter and television. So, its data transmission of several megabytes per seconds could be disrupted if any movement of hand is crossing the signal line.

Hitachi Japan is reporting to develop a breakthrough lightweight 3D display which could eventually apply to mobiles phone. What’s more, its amazing display can bring out a real life images just like it appears right in front of you in a completely three dimensional utilizing mirror images.

It uses a stereoscopic vision display weighs only one kilogram (2.2 pounds) and kind of resembles an upside-down, multi-angular pyramid with mirrors on top of a liquid crystal display.

In conjunction with forthcoming mooncake festival, ten Chinese cooks spent about ten hours to make a 13-ton giant mooncakes. This is the biggest mooncake ever made by a super food market in Shenyang, China.

The giant mooncake was measured at 8.15 meters in diameter of 8.15 meters and height of 20 cm, has a total surface area of 52 square meters. It has ten types of different flavored stuffings, including white lotus seeds, red bean paste and pineapple.

Hong Kong female duo Twins Charlene Choi Cheuk-Yin and Gillian Chung Yan-Tung were shot series of wedding photos for a wedding gown brand of France. This was their first ad in wedding gown.

It took them 8 hours for the photo shot under the hot weather. But it worth for them to spend their hard time in wedding gowns because each of them earned more than HK$ 7 figures as the models of the ads. Two young male singers from the same Music Company were posed as the “bridegrooms” in the ads.
