Google Earth to launch Sky for stargazers
Interesting StuffFamous 3D mapping service provider, Google Earth, will unveil another new feature called Sky. Sky is a “virtual telescope” which allows stargazers to explore hundred million stars and two hundred million galaxies. The amazing software is the result of a consortium of scientists around the world to digitize the sky.
Google wishes to create Internet users’ interest to learn about space via its Sky in Google Earth. With the availability of Sky, it can foster and initiate new understanding of the universe to everybody via a small computer. Google Earth users can float and zoom in on over millions stars and galaxies. They can view the sky as seen from earth.
Google Earth’s Sky service can be downloaded from the latest version of Google Earth.
