Mother Sentenced for Posing as Her Daughter-in-law

A 47-year-old woman Rebecca Crowe was sentenced to 30 days in jail because she claimed herself as her daughter-in-law. The woman’s son Christopher Crowe, 25, was in court to plead guilty to four felony counts. When the judge asked whether Christopher Crowe’s wife agreed with the plea deal during hearing, Rebecca Crowe stood up, claimed herself as her son’s wife and said she agreed with the plea agreement.
But Vanderburgh County Deputy Prosecutor Anna Clutter saw the picture of Christopher Crowe’s young wife later and discovered Rebecca Crowe’s identity.
