A group of mothers and infants were gathered in Nicosia, Cyprus on August 8, 2007, participated in a group breastfeeding record attempt. They were trying to break the world synchronised breastfeeding record simultaneously held in 18 countries on that day.

Total 61 mothers and 64 babies were there to break the world record, including three pairs of twins, took part in the group breastfeeding record attempt.
