Celebrity News, Interesting Stuff, Movie Trailer, Wonderful ThingsEver dreamt of travelling around the world on motorcycle via extreme terrains and different culture and weather?
Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman had a once in a lifetime adventure in April 2004 travelling from London to New York on their motorcycles. They travelled from London, crossing over to Europe through France, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Siberia, Alaska, Canada and New York City, USA.
They had another cameraman travelling with them on the motorcycle and support team which met them at certain stops along the way. The journey took them 115 days, covering almost 20000 miles in total. They covered some of the most beautiful sceneries, some wild animals, crossing deep rivers and untouched landscape in the world. They even took the opportunity to visit the UNICEF-supported projects along the route.
It was a journey which test their mental and physical strength. It may look easy but it was not. It was difficult, tough journey and they were supporting each other along the way and they made it in the end.
Both of them have set for another adventure heading down this time to South Africa from Scotland starting from 12 May 2007. The adventure is called “Long Way Down”. The show will be available in September 2007.
