Interesting StuffSeeing the following bird nest cleaning & making process. I think i not dare to eat it anymore.
The cleaning process was full of chemical. All those chemical are bad for health. Especially the chemical used for the process to whiten the bird nest i.e
– H2O2 – to remove odour
– SO2 & SO3 – to whiten the colour
All those chemicals will cause the cancer.

What you have above are cave nests processing method from Indonesia which are very dirty and most of the time, they use hydrogen Procide to bleach the nest, Altought HO3 is harmless to human but using it will detroy all the goodness in the nest.
House nests are different because they are very clean with some dirts that will go off after cleaning, Need not use any chemical or bleaching agent on them. Be on the safe side, never buy red nests cos coloring and very white nests, possibility of bleaching agent. Birdnest is really good and you don’t know what you miss.
