Which movie do women like the most? Well, from the survey conducted by Sky Movies Sci-Fi & Horror channel, the 1987 romance film, Dirty Dancing, is the movie that women like to watch the most. The survey also showed that women who confessed to liking the movie starring Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey and Jerry Orbach tend to have watched it at least 15 times.

Dirty Dancing was filmed at Mountain Lake in Virginia and Lake Lure in North Carolina. It was one of the top hit movies after it was released. Its soundtrack is also one of the best-selling soundtracks of all time. A few famous songs such as “She’s Like the Wind,” “Hungry Eyes” and “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” are still amongst the most highly searched songs until today.

The story of the movie took place in the summer of 1963 and Baby (Jennifer Grey) was stuck at the Catskills with her parents. Attempting to make the best of the situation, Baby attended the organized classes on merengue dancing and wig demonstration. Suddenly, all of that changed when she met Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze), the resort’s dance instructor. With Johnny, Baby learnt the steps to a new dance–a dirty dance–that allowed her to discover new strengths and new talents in order to define her place in a rapidly changing world. Under the influence of Rhythm and Blues, Baby can now express herself and her love for Johnny. The dance or choreography is sexy, romantic, erotic and beautiful. The cast is superb, natural and amazing.
