Gigi Lai – “Goddess of Beauty.” (爱美神)
Celebrity News, Sexy BabesGigi Lai is a Hong Kong actress under contract to the TVB television channel. Gigi is very well known for her beautiful image and her love of beauty, the Hong Kong media has dubbed her the nickname “Goddess of Beauty.” (爱美神).
She very famoust with Hong Kong series of “War And Beauty” recently. Gigi’s character, Yuk Ying in the TVB serial War and Beauty, was very outstanding. However, her heavy breathing in her crying scenes drew some criticism from the audience. Gigi won the TVB Most Popular Actress Award in 2004 for her role in War & Beauty. This win was to become a hotly debated controversy (see War & Beauty page). Gigi has since become very popular with fans from Hong Kong and mainland and many Asian countries after the huge success of War and Beauty. She is now one of the most popular actresses in TVB.
Gigi has been in the acting career for a while now (about 5 years – how did she start?) She mainly featured in TVB series movies which made her progressed better over the years. Her roles in all the series have been kind hearted because she is a sweet and gentle looking person. She is a very good actress, even though her cinematic movies are of very few and generally acted as a co-star.
