Jet Li’s new movie, “Ci Ma”

The film, will be based on a story about the assassination of Ma Xiny, is a heroic tale of three blood brothers and their struggle in the midst of war and political upheaval. It is during the China’s Qing dynasty and when one brother kills another to steal his wife, and the third seeks revenge.
The film directed by Hong Kong’s Peter Chan, is budgeted at US$40 million, remake of famed martial arts director Chang Cheh’s 1973 movie “The Blood Brothers.”
The movie recently kicked off filming and is due to be released end of next year.
